We are not a "tax resolution" or "tax relief" company. We are not a "debt settlement" company. Companies that advertise as one of those types of business entities should be avoided in most cases. In the State of Texas only a CPA can represent themselves out to the public as an "accountant." This company is a professional tax and bookkeeping firm based in Houston, TX that serves clients across the USA. It is not an accounting firm. J.R. Coleman is an Enrolled Agent before the Treasury Department. While he or other staff may represent clients under a Power-of-Attorney per Treasury Department or state regulations and procedures, we are not a law firm.

J.R. Coleman, E.A. went into private tax practice as an Enrolled Agent in 1998 after a 10 year career as a GS11 Revenue Officer with IRS. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College. He is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents. He became an Accredited Tax Advisor in 2004. He obtained his Texas insurance license in 2005. As of May 1, 2011, J.R. Coleman has affiliated with Bryan Brassell, E.A. and his Padgett Business Service franchise based at the same office building as 3C. Bryan Brassell is a former Houston Police officer with a distinguished career. He holds a BA from the University of Houston and an MBA. He is a successful entrepreneur with several business interests but his passion is providing outstanding financial services to his clients and growing his practice. Padgett Business Service provides tax preparation, tax representation, bookkeeping, Quickbooks consulting, and other financial services.
